Effective Date: 22-Sep-2025
This Privacy Policy informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our application ("accid") and the choices you have associated with that data.
1. Data Collection and Use
The "accid" app is designed to help you retrieve your PSN account ID. To provide this service, the app collects and processes the following information:
Authentication Token: When you log in to the PlayStation Network through the in-app WebView, the app intercepts the redirect URL, which contains a temporary authentication token. This token is immediately sent to our backend server for processing. We do not store this token.
PSN Account ID: Our backend server uses the authentication token to retrieve your PSN account ID. This ID is then sent back to your device and displayed in the app. The app temporarily stores this ID to allow you to copy it. It is not stored long-term on your device or our servers.
Clipboard Data: The app provides a "Paste" button to read data from your device's clipboard and an "Copy" button to write the retrieved PSN account ID to the clipboard. This action is performed only when explicitly initiated by the user. We do not monitor or store clipboard content.
2. Data Sharing and Disclosure
Your data is shared with the following third party:
Backend Server: The authentication token from the PlayStation Network is sent to our backend server to retrieve the PSN account ID. This server only processes the data to provide the requested service and does not store it.
We use OkHttp, a third-party library, for all network communication with our backend server.
3. Data Security
We value your trust in providing us your information and strive to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
4. User Rights
You can clear all temporary data by using the "Clear Cache" button within the app.
5. Links to Other Sites
The app uses a WebView to load the official PlayStation Network login page. We are not responsible for the content or privacy policies of this external site.
6. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
